Superbowl commercial was troubling, I'll admit, for an old dyed-in-the-wool feminist such as myself, but the services, products and support they offer are excellent, and their prices are better than competitive. Really, the best internet company I've ever worked with.
• Created using Adobe PageMill or Netscape Composer on my little turquoise iMac using (*gasp!*) OS 9.1. (Can't bring myself to upgrade. I'm nervous about it. I know it's dumb, and it's becoming more and more problematic, but there you have it. I'm mired in the pre-OSX world.)
• Files uploaded to the server using Fetch. Great software, nice people.
• Photo on the homepage taken by a student on the MAP Europe trip in 2004 -- most likely Christina Elliott.
• Email for the website is handled through the school district server. I do have another email address with GoDaddy: alexfaye@msfletcher.org
• Clip art and fanciful fonts in headers are almost always from free online sources. The font on the Homepage is an Apple font called Socket.
• Quote-of-the-Day on Page One is provided automatically by Thinkexist.com -- it's a free service, and always a surprise.
• I wrote the content on this website, unless otherwise attributed.
• Coming soon: Adobe Reader files! I'll be able to convert my handouts to PDF files. Very exciting.
